The tools have been perfected over the years and are now the best performing groove sharpeners in the world. There are now 4 different tools to choose from. Each tool has 2 ends for sharpening. We do have a brand new GV1 tool and a new tool coming soon. We also have a new handle that will work with any of my tools. Put the bite back into your wedge.

All new wedge faces have a gritty sandpaper like feel. Titleist Spin Milled wedges has this type of face. Titleist does advertise it and you do get more backspin with this type of face.

There is no USGA rule against having a gritty club face.

The reason you stop getting backspin on balls is because of 2 things: grooves become dull and the face of clubs become to smooth.

Using the Rougher Tool you put the gritty face back on your irons. It is very easy to use. You actually use less force than using the Groove Sharpener.

Using this tool you will get even more backspin.

You will not scuff or ruin your golf balls when using this tool.
