| Directions: Place the shaft of your iron against your shoulder and hold the iron head firmly in your hand. Place the tool in the groove to be sharpened at about a 45 degree angle. Push the tool through the groove using your other hand. You can also push the tool with your thumb of the hand holding the iron face. Repeat until the groove is free of obstructions and reached the desired sharpness. Little metal shavings will appear depending on how much pressure you are applying to the sides of the grooves. Once the grooves are sharp it is very easy to keep them maintained. You can easily keep the tool in your pocket during play for a quick groove sharpening or cleaning. | |||
